Beetwen Niort and Poitiers, a few kilometers far from the Atlantic Coast, a region is known as a new Venezia. It is the most oriental part of the "Marais Poitevin" (marsh of Poitou), also called "Venise Verte" (Green Venice).

Why "Venice" ?
Because of its canals and its mistery atmosphere.

Why "Green" ?
Because of the greenlighted monuments that any one can admire. All of them are built by the nature, and they are composing a unical framework in France.
